Get well soon, mom

Bad news from jakarta, my mom was rushed to the hospital yesterday afternoon. Her temperature reached 40°C, she had difficulties to breath. After some check-ups, she turns out to have some complications due to the diabetes, heart, cholesterol, pneumonia, blood coagulation....
I wish I could be there by her side. I feel very sad and despair facing the 14 000 kms that separates us. All I can do is pray... Get well soon, mom, I want to see you laughing.

Ouff!

/RIF, indonesian rock band in Paris

It's summer time! June 21 marks the first day of summer. In France -and some other countries- we celebrate the coming of summer with La fête de la musique (Music festival). Unlike a "normal" music festival, this is a free popular festival, open to any participant (amateur or professional musicians) who performs in open air areas as streets and parks or in public buildings like museums, train stations, castles…. For the fist time, a rock band from Indonesia, /RIF, is invited to this festival. The concert took place in a small square next to the Dupleix subway. We had a good time, dancing, singing, shouting in a cheerful atmosphere (I think my baby agrees with me, she was quite calm and didn't give me any kicks). But I wonder how loud she heard inside the womb ?

7 Hours of Le Mans

It was the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend. We went there not to watch the race but to visit the Limal family. It's been almost 3 years from the last time we met. Ooooh their kids are so big and adorable now. The twin girls are so coquines and Sébastien is so sweet. He dedicated a hand made totem for my future baby.

My baby

Lung development takes a big leap forward this week, as Baby’s body manufactures a wetting agent that helps keep the lungs from sticking together. Blood vessels and air sacs are continuing to develop in the lungs as well.

She also:

• has a fully formed inner ear • can now orient herself, realizing when she is upside down or right side up

It's a girl!!!

My baby @ 19 weeks pregnant - ma petite princesse à 19 SG

Here I am in the mid of my 2nd semester. I'm so grateful that everything seemed to go quite smoothly, no big problem what so ever. I will start to write a little bit of my every day life here, for my personal records and updates for my family and friends whereever they are.

I went through the 2nd ultrasound early June and it was confirmed that I'm having a baby girl. All the measures are on the averages, my little princess is neither too big nor too small, l'idéale quoi!

Who's who

Hi There,
Welcome to my blog, a place where I write about the adventures of our precious one. I also write a bit of my every day life in France to give a view of what I've been up to. Have a seat and enjoy.
