Célia

No holiday, hospital instead! A day before we supposed to go on holiday, I had my 3rd ultrasound. My obgyn suspected an anomaly on doppler results on uterine and found that my tension is too high, so he sent me to do some lab tests. And so we cancelled our holiday. I had the results few days later and there are some tests that are above the normal values. A week later, august 17th in the morning, we went to see my obgyn. Again he was sceptical and suggested me to go to the hospital right away to do a thorough monitoring. We went directly to Diaconesses and I was put into a monitoring. The baby's heart is stable but if there is a contraction, it goes down. So she doesn't support the contraction. In the afternoon, the doctor has decided that I must be sent to a hospital with a neonatology as there is a risk of a prematurity. So I was transfered to Pitié-Salpêtrière in the afternoon.
To make it short, again I was put into a monitoring during the whole night and a doctor did the ultrasound. The next day, for the sake of the mother and the baby, they decided to do the C section to get the baby out. I didn't know how to react to the doctor's decision, I didn't expect to give birth so soon. I didn't have the time to realize and here I am in the operating room. Rg was by my side, I remembered that I felt so cold. I must say that I didn't feel any pain during the operation, and there she is, crying.....
Célia was born on August 18, at 19.25. She is a tiny little baby and after a few hours in her daddy's arms, she was transfered to neonatology service. I was alone in the recovery room.... missing my baby.
